TOUR DESCRIPTION
Walk along the Camino Nacional, an ancient trail that tells the story of pre-Hispanic America, the Spanish conquest, the Royal Botanical Expedition, and the Antioquian colonization.
Along the route, you will discover ancient indigenous terraces, walk through the cloud forest, and pass by traditional farms and crops. Enjoy breathtaking viewpoints with panoramic mountain views and the opportunity to observe a variety of bird species.

ITINERARY
We will start the day early with a delicious traditional breakfast in Salento before setting off on our hike to discover the Camino Nacional trail.
As we make our way through the cloud forest, we will discover fascinating places, including ancient terraces and natural viewpoints that tell the story of this millenary route.
The total distance is approximately 12 km, starting at 1,995 meters above sea level and reaching a maximum elevation of 2,495 meters, with a total elevation gain of approximately 500 meters.

It is very important to have a good level of physical fitness and to bring at least the following items to enjoy this outdoor experience safely and comfortably:
