History
Lion X Adventures is a travel agency and tour operator founded in 2019, following more than 16 years of research and exploration of Colombia and the evolution of tourism in the country by its founder, Carlos Orlando León Holguín. Since then, we have been dedicated to developing ecotourism, adventure, sports, wellness, recreation, and cultural experiences throughout Colombia.
Our main focus is to support the exploration and preservation of Colombia’s diverse landscapes and natural heritage, particularly in the southwestern regions of the country, including Valle del Cauca, Antioquia, the Coffee Region, and Los Nevados National Natural Park and its surrounding areas across the departments of Tolima, Caldas, Risaralda, and Quindío.
Located in the heart of the Andean region, within the Central Cordillera of the Andes, we are strategically positioned to develop and coordinate a wide variety of experiences with travelers across other regions of Colombia. From the Pacific region to the west and the Cundiboyacense highlands to the east, to the Colombian Massif in the south and the Caribbean region in the north, our location allows us to connect travelers with the country’s diverse landscapes and cultures.
Over the years, we have worked to build a high-quality range of experiences, including mountain traverses, visits to nature reserves, cultural experiences that preserve and celebrate our Andean roots, and excursions through some of Colombia’s most important tourist regions and cities.
